Unfortunatly every forum that isn't totally out of control has its guidelines. Although we are not as strict as other websites, we do expect you to follow the code. So just try not to break these rules and things should be cool.
1. NO DOUBLEPOSTING! If you were the last one to post in the topic, then wait for someone else to reply before posting in that topic again. That is how a conversation works right?
2. NO SPAMING/TROLLING! Spam can be a lot of things. It can be a comment that is unrelevent to the topic. Like posting "I'm hungry!" in a topic about football. Or "Could you pass the chereos?" in a topic about politics. Another forum of spam can be a random bunch of characters, like "gkjaopfjaioghar383rtfjeiwrj48tghq83rfjhetly4895r432y8ty7q4". If we catch you doing that, a moderator will delete the post. If we catch you doing it multiple times, then worse things will happen.
3. NO SPAM TOPICS! When you start a topic that says something like "BUY ME A TACO!$$!@$!!!111", we also call that spam. There is a spam topic where you can post that kind of stuff in. (spamming is alloud in there also) But besides that, if you don't have anything interesting to say, we perfer you just don't say it.
4. PROFANITY! We prefer you do not use strong words, that are insulting to race, religion, culture, etc. As far as swearing goes, sure you can swere when nessary, but we cencered some words so your just going to have to deal with that.
NO FLAMING! Flaming is when two users constantly insult eachother on a topic. This usually involves lots of swearing, and mean offensive put downs. We do not like that kind of talk, and both users will be banned for a number of days depending on how bad the situation was.
WATCH WHERE YOU POST YOUR TOPICS! We have board and catigory names for a reason. If we see a topic about football in the music section we will move that topic. We will not always put up with that. A mistake or two is ok. But if it happens a bunch of times by the same user we will send a warning and eventually ban that person.
HARRASMENT! Harrasment is like flamming. If someone is just being a jerk to everyone, report it to us and one of us will talk to him/her. If the harrasment is minimal then just suck it up, and the user will just get in trouble eventually.
SEXUAL CONTENT! Just don't gross us out too much. Don't post any pornography or just plain sick pictures unless very nessasary.
